This type of silencer is made up of an outer envelope in perforated steel, covered with fibreglass and a layer of high-density mineral wool. It is equipped with a central bulb that is also made of perforated steel and filled with mineral wool.

This creates significant absorbent surfaces. The device is easily inserted in a section of an exhaust or chimney. The bulb can be removed for cleaning, or replaced if needed.
